It is not Bald Eagles This time

I kept hearing loud hollering from the trees and I could not tell if the yelling was from Baby Eagles or Red Tail Hawks… so I decided to “talk” to them…

Well, my "Whistling" worked...

I said a couple of days ago that I thought I was hearing either Red-tailed Hawks or Baby Bald Eagles.

As it turns out, it is confirmed to be Red-tailed Hawks.

My husband came to the house to drop off a trailer from the other place we were staying at, and I mentioned to him the birds I was literally talking to...

He went out with me, and I did my whistle thing again, got an answer, and then, all of a sudden, here comes one of the adults flying out to answer my calls.

Red-tailed Hawk to the core, it flew out of the trees and right at us until it realized it was me calling to it.

Then it started circling to look for something on the ground, not far from where he and I were standing on the porch.

No baby Eagles... this time...

But my husband now knows I have the ability to talk to wild birds... and they will respond... LOL!!

It is definitely not boring out here in the wilderness…
