The tale of the “Front Porch Invaders”

The wildlife knows I am here and they are looking for me... all in the very same day.

This little Lady/Man... was trying their best to come and see me in the living room this morning. Scratching on the door to get me to let him/her in for a visit.

When I said no the first time, he/she came back and scratched again a second time... LOL!

This is my "Wilderness Story of the day" at the new farm.

How awesome is this?

Omg... GUESS WHO IS BACK A THIRD TIME!!!

LOL!!

Then, the illustrious “Porch Invaders” showed up, and this time, they brought the Cattle herd with them…

The other invaders were the cattle that you can see coming in the pasture on the other side of the road in the background.

The night before last, we had a herd of Coyotes near the house. They all gathered and got to hollering, it was SO loud, and of course, I didn't have my camera or phone with me.

Had one coyote come through the backyard and went to the far end of the pasture, only to be followed by several deer.

I have only seen one snake out here, and it was a Chicken snake, but I got it with the mower before I knew it was there.

Still unpacking so I can find all my photo and video equipment...

Lots going on around here at the new location.

Just got the Parabolic Dish out of storage and charged up to record the amazing sounds of the night out here in the wilderness… just having to wait for the headphones to arrive next week. I found that I no longer have any “corded” headphones, since everything is going to Bluetooth these days.

For the next Wilderness update, I will be posting and uploading the “Sounds of the Night” and “Storms” that moved in and put on a flashing lightning show, and hoping that my video camera captured everything we heard while sitting out on the back porch.

I cannot remember at the moment if I had the video camera with me the night we heard a huge pack of Coyotes not far from us. In fact, the Coyote pack was much closer than we were comfortable with, as we had no protection with us while sitting out in the dark, listening.

More to come in a bit… thanks for watching and visiting.
